Stoical (Warwick Farm Race 4 No. 8)
This No Nay Never gelding trained by Peter and Paul Snowden has had 3 starts and broke his maiden last start. At the end of last campaign he finished 1.62 lengths 4th in a 2YO maiden handicap over 900m at Newcastle on 23 April before a 29 week spell. He resumed with a 3.3 length win in 3YO maiden handicap over 1000m at Kembla Grange on 14 November where he gave nothing else a chance. Now he has learned how to race he can win again.

Nuclear Summit (Warwick Farm Race 6 No. 6):
This Spirit Of Boom gelding has two wins and a place from seven starts. He finished 0.7 lengths 2nd in a Class 1 handicap over 1200m at Goulburn on 23 February, then held on for a 0.16 length win in a class 1 handicap over 1400m at Hawkesbury on 17 March. Resuming here after 36 weeks he has won two of three recent trials and looks a nice each-way chance.

Cat D’oro (Warwick Farm Race 1 No. 1):
This Medaglio D’Oro colt trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in this 3YO maiden handicap over 1300m as he has three placings from his four starts. He fought on for 0.3 length 2nd over 1200m at Canterbury Park on a heavy track on 19 August before a 10 week break, then resumed for 0.8, 3.3 lengths 3rd in a 3YO maiden handicap over 1100m at Randwick on a heavy track on 3 November. He was quite a long way from the winner last start and may need another run.

Best Bet Miss Polly (Darwin Race 1 No. 6) She came from the outside barrier to be runner-up on debut over 1200m here.
