Our Wyong Horse Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Quatum (Wyong Race 5 No. 1):
This four-year-old Starspangledbanner gelding trained by Matthew Dunn has one win from his three starts. After winning at Warwick Farm on debut he led then was galloped on and finished 15.8 lengths 6th over 1100m on a heavy track at Randwick on 15 August, then jumped awkwardly and had lots of things go wrong when 10.8 lengths 10th over 1100m at Kensington on 26 August. He has spelled for 21 weeks and has won two lead-up trials. Looks ready for a first-up win.

Snitzify (Wyong Race 6 No. 3):
This four-year-old Snitzel gelding trained by Peter and Paul Snowden has two wins and four places from 10 starts. He resumed from a 23 weeks spell for a close 2nd over 1200m at Newcastle on 1 December, then jumped awkwardly and kept chasing for 0.6 lengths 4th over 1300m on a heavy track at Warwick Farm on 6 January. Both his wins have come third-up so he looks a nice each-way bet third-up here.

Never Never River (Wyong Race 7 No. 2):
This three-year-old Written Tycoon gelding is the early favourite in this Rising Star BM 64 handicap over 1350m. He resumed from a 33 week spell with a 2.3 length win in a 3YO maiden handicap over 1250m at Canterbury Park on 11 December, then was winded late for 5.3 lengths 7th over 1300m on a heavy track at Kensington on 2 January. Other runners appear to offer better value.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 19th May 2024

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Weldborough (Devonport Race 9 No. 3) Won by 2.5 lengths over

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 19th May 2024

Key Comments The best bet is in the first and looks awfully hard to beat the short quote. The track has been favouring those on speed lately. Best Bet Coffin Dodger (Sale Race 1 No. 2) So hard to beat here off the back of 2 superb runs. The latest they put a huge gap on third and will not get a better chance to break maiden than this. Horse Racing Tips: NT Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The features are the $30,000 Tennant Creek Cup (race 6) and the $21,500 Denis Staunton Memorial Cup (race 5). The sand track is rated good and the rail in in the true position. Best Bet Merseyside (Tennant Creek Race 4 No. 2) Merseyside has been runner-up at her last 2 starts in Darwin and that form looks good enough to win this. Horse Racing Tips: QLD Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The first race is at 4.47pm. The track is rated soft and the rail is +1 metre the entire circuit. Best Bet Discotheque (Toowoomba Race 6 No. 1) Finished 2nd at Beaudesert last start after hitting the lead approaching the turn and being overpowered in the final 100m. Drops back slightly in distance and gets blinkers on. Strong chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Lost My Nightie (Toowoomba Race 3
