Our Wyong Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Cathay (Wyong Race 4 No. 1)
This Deep Field filly has had three starts for two wins and a place. She took over at the 180m and won by 0.56 length in a fillies and mares maiden plate over 1200m at Gosford on 16 July. Next start she hit the lead at the 200m and kept going strongly for a 0.33 length win in a class 1 on a heavy track over 1100m at Hawkesbury on 30 July. She resumes here from a 15 week break and has trialled at Hawkesbury. She looks the testing material in this race.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Tejori (Wyong Race 6 No. 10):
This four-year-old Hinchinbrook mare has three wins and a place from seven starts. She jumped awkwardly and ran on in the straight for 1.5, 1.3 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Randwick on a heavy track on 20 June, then raced keenly and came across heels for 2.5 lengths 5th over 1300m at Randwick on 4 July. She resumes from a 19 week spell and has won both of her first-up starts. She came 2nd in a Canberra trial and looks a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay

Eyewitness (Wyong Race 1 No. 4):
This Star Witness filly is the early favourite in this maiden handicap over 1000m. She is the only unraced horse in the race but has gone well in three trials. Several other runners have already placed more than once and look ready to win.

Key Comments The rail is true and the conditions are in the soft range. A 9 race card takes place and the jockeys challenge looks an even spread of chances. The best bet looks well placed to notch up another win. Best Bet She's Pretty Rich (Wangaratta Race 4 No. 3) Doesn't win out of turn but did 2 starts back and again put in a solid effort last run in Morphetville. Looks well placed here on the weights scale and should give

Key Comments The track is rated good and the rail is out 0.5 metre from the 900m to 600m, and +1.5 metres from the 600m to 250m. Best Bet Levar (Gatton Race 1 No. 4) Levar was a close 3rd at Ipswich at his only start. From the inside barrier he should go straight to the front and should be able to stay there. Top rated. Best Bet Processio (Pinjarra Race 2 No. 6) This filly was a neck 2nd when resuming over 1200m at Bunbury on 2nd June. There was a 6 length gap to 3rd. Looks a strong chance here. Horse Racing Tips: VIC Wednesday 19th June 2024

Key Comments The track is in the soft range and the rail is out 8 metres. The best bet is one of the hardest horses to catch but looks juicy odds. Best Bet William Thomas (Sandown Race 8 No. 3) He has been enormous in his past few runs without much luck and does go well on this track. Very hard horse to catch but boasts a good place rate and hasn't seen a grade this low since 2018. Can win but he
