He finished last campaign with 2.9 lengths 5th over 1800m at Randwick on a soft track where he had the best last 800m race sectional. He resumed after 15 weeks with a 1.5 length win over 1550m at Canterbury on 23 September and drops in weight. Looks a winning chance.

He resumed for 1.5 lengths 6th over 1600m at Warwick Farm on 16 September then was 2.5 lengths, 0.2 length 3rd over 1800m at Kensington on 30 September. A few runners in this race have already had wins at this distance and he does not look like value.
