This four-year-old I Am Invincible gelding trained by Jason Deamer at Newcastle has three wins and a place from five starts. After resuming from a 21 week spell he drove hard along the inside and took over late for a 0.63 length win over 1300m at Hawkesbury on 6 December, then kept chasing to prevail in the latter stages for a 0.22 length win over 1350m at Newcastle on 26 December. He has the speed to overcome the outside barrier and looks up to winning a race in the city.

Azarmin (Warwick Farm Race 5 No. 6):
At the end of last campaign this five-year-old Animal Kingdom mare trained by Kris Lees was slowly away and didn’t run on when 7.7 lengths 7th over 1800m at Kensington on 18 July then was spelled for 23 weeks. She resumed for a 0.11 length win over 1350m at Newcastle where she had the best overall race sectionals, and looks a nice each-way chance in this race.

Havin’ Fun (Warwick Farm Race 4 No. 6):
This four-year-old All Too Hard mare from the John Sargent stable is the early favourite in this mares BM 72 handicap over 1400m. She was in contention until the final strides when 0.9 lengths 5th over 1600m at Warwick Farm on 9 December, then battled away for 2 lengths 6th over 1400m at Randwick on 19 December. This is a very open race and she offers no value.
