Pereille (Warwick Farm Race 3 No. 3)
This Fastnet Rock colt has run consistently well without winning to start his career. First up when he was here at Warwick Farm he was solid when making a wide-searching run of a slow pace to finish under a length back in third. He then went to Rosehill over the 1200m where he was making nice headway on the clock but just peaked over the final 200m with the blinkers on first time. He has drawn well here and gets the capable Josh Parr aboard. The only query will be how he goes on the heavy going, but I trust the stable’s judgment.

Hollywood North (Warwick Farm Race 5 No.8)
This Vancouver gelding was terrific first-up, coming from the rear of the field to finish within 1.8 lengths of Mensa Missile at Rosehill over the 1400m. The step up to the mile looks an ideal step and the conditions won’t be an issue as he has proven in the past he runs well on the heavy going. Despite being up in grade, he should get his chance with Jason Collett aboard and providing they get the luck needed early, he should be in the finish.
