Our Hawkesbury Horse Racing Tips for Tuesdays meeting.

Captivare (Hawkesbury Race 4 No. 4)
This three-year-old I Am Invincible gelding trained by Chris Waller has five places from eight starts. He raced keen throughout and was winded late for 1.8, 3 lengths 3rd over 1500m at Kembla Grange on 17 April, then didn’t have the clearest of runs for a close 2nd over 1600m at Kembla Grange on 24 April, where he had the best last 800m race sectional. With three places from three runs this preparation he is ready to break his maiden and should win.

Time For Victory (Hawkesbury Race 7 No. 2):
This three-year-old Time For War gelding trained by Mark Newnham at Warwick Farm has two wins and two places from seven starts. He kept chasing when clear at the 200m for 1.32 lengths 2nd on a heavy track at Wyong on 8 April with the best overall race sectionals, then was checked off heels at the 700m and kept chasing when clear for 3.03 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Newcastle on 22 April. Drawn perfectly in barrier 1 he looks a great each-way bet.

Astero (Hawkesbury Race 8 No. 5):
This three-year-old Zoustar gelding trained by Matthew Smith has a win and two places from four starts and is the early favourite in this Class 1 handicap over 1300m. He worked to the middle of the track on straightening and drove to the front at the 150m before sprinting away for a 2 length win on a heavy track over 1300m at Canberra on 9 October, then looked the winner at the 200m but one got past him late for 0.3 length 2nd in a Class 1 over 1400m at Goulburn on 4 November. Resumes here from a 23 week spell and has been gelded and was 3rd in a recent trial. Other runners offer better value.
