This three-year-old gelding trained by Cameron Crockett at Scone has one win and one place from three starts. He raced greenly and hung out but still managed to finish 0.32 length 2nd over 1280m at Muswellbrook on 30 April, then chased solidly to win by a length over 1300m at Scone on 14 May. That was a good win and he can win again.

This four-year-old Dissident gelding trained by Damien Lane at Wyong has six places from 11 starts. He battled away for 4.12 lengths 4th on a heavy track over 2000m at Taree on 4 January, then resumed from a 19 week break for 0.08, 2.75 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Hawkesbury on 20 May. Has placed at this track twice from three runs here and looks a good each-way chance.again

Taketheshot (Scone Race 5 No. 3):
This three-year-old Smart Missile gelding trained by Mark Mason at Tamworth is the early favourite in this Class 1 handicap over 1100m. He chased solidly but was no match for the winner when 3.87 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Tamworth on 23 April, then chased steadily for 3.69 lengths 8th over 1100m on a soft track at Scone on 14 May. Other runners look to have better chances and I”m prepared to risk him here.
