Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Word for Word (Rosehill Race 4 No. 4)
Chris Waller has 4 runners in this fillies and mares race, but this daughter of So You Think looks the best chance to win. She had the best 800m-200m race sectional when she finished 0.2 length 2nd over 1600m at Randwick on 6 June, the handled the heavy going beautifully to win by 0.1 lengths over 1500m at Rosehill on 13 June. She looks capable of making it back-to-back wins.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Wu Gok (Rosehill Race 6 No. 1):
This Sebring gelding relishes the heavy going with 8 of his 11 wins being on heavy ground. He won the Listed Lord Mayors Cup on heavy going by 3.8 lengths over 2000m at Rosehill on 30 May, then won the Listed Winter Cup on heavy going by 0.2 lengths over 2400m at Rosehill on 13 June. Unless the track dries out a lot before the race he looks a great each-way bet.

Best Lay

Home Of The Brave (Rosehill Race 7 No. 1):
This eight-year-old Starspangledbanner gelding is the early favourite for the Listed Civic Stakes over 1350m. He weakened to the line to finish 4.8 lengths 7th in the Group 3  C McKay Stakes over 1100m at Morphettville on 2 May, then chased hard for 0.1 length, 0.2 lengths 3rd on a heavy track in the Listed The Straight Six over 1200m at Flemington on 23 May. He has a big weight to carry here and does not look like value.
