Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Private Eye (Rosehill Race 9 No. 8)
This three-year-old Al Maher gelding trained by Joe Pride has four wins from five starts and has had a great start to his career. He chased hard to find the front at the 150m and came away for a 1.3 length win over 1250m on a soft track at Kensington on 17 December, where he had the best last 600m race sectional, then he adopted similar tactics for a 1.5 length win over 1300m on a heavy track at Kensington on 2 January where he had the best overall race sectionals. Should be very hard to beat.

Never Talk (Rosehill Race 8 No. 6):
This three-year-old filly from the Kris Lees stable has five wins from six starts. She jumped awkwardly and was too far back in the field when 3.4 lengths 7th over 1100m at Warwick Farm on 25 November, then ran on strongly for a 1.3 length win over 1100m on a heavy track at Kensington on 2 January. At the current price she looks a very good each-way bet.

Count De Rupee (Rosehill Race 5 No. 10):
This three-year-old Real Impact gelding is the early favourite in this colts, geldings & entires BM 78 handicap over 1200m. He was slowly away and was beaten straightening and winded late when 6.55 lengths 5th over 1200m at Wyong on 16 December, then settled at the rear and chased hard for 1.5, 0.4 lengths 3rd over 1300m on a heavy track at Kensington on 2 January. This is a harder race and I am willing to risk him.
