He was nailed on the line for a close 2nd over 1100m at Canterbury on 7 April, then led all the way and won by an impressive 4 lengths over 1200m at Randwick on 24 April. He drops 5kg from his last run and should be able to win this Listed race over 1300m.

This Written Tycoon has shown ability in her three starts to date. She ran 0.2 length 2nd over 1000m at Warwick Farm on 25 November where she couldnt get a clear run.’On resuming after 21 weeks she led coming into the striaght and increased the margin to win by 2.76 lengths over 1100m at Gosford on 25 April. She drops 6 kg from last start and with the inside barrier she looks a good each-way bet.

This four-year-old mare trained by Cameron Crockett at Scone is the early favourite in the Highway Class 3 handicap over 1500m. She ran on strongly from well back for 1.23 lengths 2nd over 1450m at Muswellbrook on 26 March, then only got clear in the latter stages and ran on for 1.03 length 4th over 1400m at Hawkesbury on 1 May. She tends to get well back in her races and in this big field I’m prepared to risk her.
