Our Kembla Grange Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Frosty Rocks (Kembla Grange Race 7 No. 5):
This five-year-old Your Song gelding trained by Bjorn Baker has five wins and eight places from 20 starts. At the end of last campaign he led most of the way before being run down late for 1.1 lengths 3rd over 1500m at Rosehill. Resuming after 25 weeks he fought on tenaciously for a 0.15 length win over 1300m at Rosehill on 24 July. Looks nicely placed here and should win.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Blondeau (Kembla Grange Race 10 No. 3):
This four-year-old I Am Invincible gelding from the Chris Waller stable has four wins and six places from 17 starts. He settled well back and chased hard for 1.6 lengths 4th over 1400m at Rosehill on 26 June, then chased hard to find the front at the 120m and keep going for a 1.2 length win over 1400m at Randwick on heavy going on 17 July. Hasn’t finished worse than 4th in his last 10 runs and is a great each-way chance.

Mr Mozart (Kembla Grange Race 4 No. 6):
This three-year-old Snitzel colt trained by Team Hawkes is the early favourite in this 3 & 4YO BM 72 handicap over 1200m. He has only had two starts and debuted with a 1 length win over 1100m at Warwick Farm on 3 March. At his second start he contacted another runner on a number of occasions near the 200m and kept battling away for 4.6 lengths 4th over 1400m at Rosehill on 3 April. Resumes here after a 19 week week spell and may find it tough against the older horses.

Key Comments The 'Bool carnival continues and the feature on the card is the Wangoom Handicap (race 8). Tricky card to sort out but going for the best bet in the feature who is 3/3 on this track and class can come to the fore. Best Bet Tuvalu (Warrnambool Race 8 No. 1) He is 3/3 on this track and form last prep reads well against these including a length loss behind Pinstriped, a length loss behind Alligator Blood and half a length
