One of several first-starters in the race. He’s won two trials at Lark Hill and was drawn the rails. Should have every opportunity with Shaun McGruddy riding and looks well worth an each-way bet.

This four-year-old Bradbury’s Luck mare is the early favourite in this Class Three Handicap over 1200m. She was taken back from a wide varrier and lost a plate when 2.2 lengths 5th over 1200m at Ascot on 1 November, then faded in the run to the linne when 3.9 lengths 7th over 1200m at Belmont on 10 November. Doesn’t seem to be going as well as last campaign, and I’m prepared to risk her.
