How to pick a winner

Each Way

Indian Mo (Oakbank Race 7 No. 2):
This six-year-old Uncle Mo gelding has one win and 12 places from 35 starts, and has placed at three of his last four starts. He fought gamely the entire straight for 0.6, 0.8 lengths 3rd over 1600m at Strathalbyn on 29 November, then was caught in the final 50m for 0.9 lengths 2nd over 1600m at Balaklava on 9 December. He looks a good each-way chance again.

Best Lay

Sharply Attired (Oakbank Race 8 No. 6):
This four-year-old mare is the early favourite in this Class 2 handicap over 1400m. She kept chasing solidly for 0.2 length 2nd in a Class 1 handicap over 1300m at Morphettville Parks on 25 November, then was hampered early and never really got into it when 4.7 lengths 6th over 1200m at Morphettville on 12 December. She hasn’t raced here before and others look to have better chances.
