This three-year-old Danerich gelding trained at Mount Gambier has one win and three places from four starts. When resuming from a 15 week spell he ground down the leader in the final strides for a 0.5 length win over 1000m at Naracoorte on 7 February, then drove hard late and became unbalanced for 0.5 length 2nd over 1300m at Penola on 24 February. He has less weight here and is ready for another win.

Longmire (Naracoorte Race 7 No. 4):
This six-year-old Snitzel gelding trained by Sue Murphy at Naracoorte has six wins and eight places from 33 starts including three wins at this track. He chased strongly to share the lead but was unable to go with the winner and finished 0.6 length 2nd over 1200m at Naracoorte on 7 February, then raced wide with no cover and finished 1.5 lengths 5th over 1300m at Penola on 24 February. He should race on the speed and is a nice each-way bet.

Cuban Toonite (Naracoorte Race 4 No. 1):
This five-year-old More Than Ready gelding trained by Sue Jaensch at Murray Bridge has four wins and 11 places from 26 starts and is the early favourite in this BM 64 handicap over 2000m. He finished 4.8 lengths 5th over 1800m at Morphettville on 20 February, then weakened in the straight for 7.8 lengths 10th over 1800m at Murray Bridge on 27 February. He hasn’t raced at this distance before while most other runners have, and offers no value.
