Our Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Hills (Murray Bridge Race 5 No. 8)
This four-year-old Not A Single Doubt mare trained by Will Clarken has three wins and a place from 11 starts. When resuming from a 33 week spell she settled well back in the field then worked home strongly for 0.2, 0.6 length 3rd over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 22 May, then she took over at the 300m and won by an easy 1.8 length margin over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 12 June. On a seven day back-up and looks the main chance.

Each Way

Trumpsta  (Murray Bridge Race 6 No. 6):
This five-year-old Starspangledbanner gelding trained by Phillip Stokes is going well this campaign. When resuming from a 10 week break he stormed home late for a length win over 1200m at Gawler on 16 May, then loomed at the 100m but was edged out late for 0.1,0.1 length 3rd over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 5 June. Is well placed here and is a great each-way chance.

Best Lay

Great Diviner (Murray Bridge Race 9 No. 4):
This three-year-old Shamus Award gelding is the early favourite in this BM 60 handicap over 1200m. Resuming from a 12 week spell he battled away for 3.2 lengths 5th over 1000m at Murray bridge, then got well back in the field before running on strongly late for 0.2 length 2nd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 5 June. Goes up in weight and is unplaced in two runs at this track.

Best Bet | Race 6 #11 So Clever Listed as first emergency but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a run. This John Moore-trained 4yo has won his only two starts and looks to have a bright future. He handled the step up from maiden to Class 1 with ease when winning at Ipswich a fortnight ago and the form around him looks solid with the second place-getter (Super Gorgeous) coming out and winning again. This looks a very winnable BM72 for a horse on the rise such as

Hinged (Doomben Race 1 No. 1) This two-year-old Worthy Cause filly trained by Michael Nolan at Toowoomba has four wins and two places from six starts. She began well and led narrowly and despite hanging in she drew away late for a 1.3 length win over 1350m at Ipswich on 2 July, then she hit the front and hung in the final 300m but held on for a 0.5 length win over 1350m at Doomben on 10
