This four-year-old gelding has had seven starts this campaign for five wins and two places. He led on the rails and held on for a narrow win in the CC Lightning Open Handicap over 1000m at Townsville on28 November, then raced up to eyeball the leader at the top of the straight and kept fighting hard but was outgunned late for 0.2 length 2nd, but was 6.3 lengths ahead of the 3rd horse, over 1200m at Mackay on 19 December. He’s in great form and should win.

Gypsy Biker (Rockhampton Race 8 No. 10):
This five-year-old Mossman gelding has two wins at this track and distance combination. He led and fought off a challenge for a 0.5 length win in a Class 6 handicap over 1300m at Rockhampton on 22 November, then took a narrow lead at the 150m but faded late for 0.75, 1.25 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Rockhampton on 18 December. He is a good each-way chance back to the 1300m.

Lastofthe Mohicans (Rockhampton Race 9 No. 9):
This three-year-old colt is the early favourite in this BM 55 handicap over 1600m. He came from the back half of the field to arrive in the final strides for a 0.2 length win in a maiden handicap over 1300m at Rockhampton on 22 November, then his run peaked at the 150m to finish 3 lengths 8th over 1600m at Rochhampton on 18 December. Other runners in this race finished ahead of him last time and I am prepared to risk him.
