Our Toowoomba Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
King Klaus (Toowoomba Race 7 No. 2)
This five-year-old Love Conquers All gelding has seven wins and four places from 13 starts. He began well before being winded and finishing 3 lengths 6th over 1200m at Sunshine Coast on 27 February, then led and kicked in the straight for a 3.5 length win over 1000m on a heavy Sunshine Coast track on 19 March. He has good early speed and the 1000m is his best distance so he will be very hard to beat.

Better Get Ready (Toowoomba Race 6 No. 10):
This three-year-old Better Than Ready gelding has had one win and two places from six starts. He settled well back and angled clear five wide on the turn to make some ground for 4 lengths 6th over 1200m at Sunshine Coast on 14 March, then led on the rails and kicked clear for a 2.8 length win over 1200m at Toowoomba on 16 April. Now he has won a maiden race he looks he looks a solid each-way chance in this 3YO Class 3 handicap.

Safado (Toowoomba Race 3 No. 4):
This six-year-old Lonhro gelding is the early favourite in this colts, geldings and entires Class 3 Plate over 1300m. He finished 0.5 length 2nd over 1400m at Kensington on 17 March, then was beaten at the 150m to finish 3.5 lengths 6th over 1400m at Kembla Grange on 3 April. He carries 3kg more than last start and I’m prepared to risk him.
