Brave Nick (Ipswich Race 3 No. 2):
This three-year-old Nicconi gelding is the early favourite in this maiden handicap over 1666m. He began fairly and worked his way to 2nd before fading to finish 0.1, 2.75 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Gold Coast on 27 February, then he started favourite and finished 2, 0.3 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Sunshine Coast on 4 April.
