Our Ipswich Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Enterprise Moss (Ipswich Race 3 No. 6)
This six-year-old Rothesay gelding has won two of his last four starts. He battled on for 2.75 lengths 4th over 1600m at Eagle Farm on 16 September, then took over at the 150m and drew away to win by a comfortable 1.8 lengths over 1800m at Sunshine Coast on 25 September. He has two wins from four previous starts at this track and looks capable of winning again.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Schappose (Ipswich Race 8 No. 3):
This six-year-old High Chaparral gelding has placed at his last three starts. He finished 0.09, 0.56 length 3rd over 1400m at Tamworth, then hit the front but hung in and was difficult to ride and finished o,63 length 2nd in the Manilla Cup over 1600m at Gunnedah on 26 September. He is down in distance and should be able to place again.

Best Lay

Maleeka Blues (Ipswich Race 7 No. 8):
This four-year-old Sepoy mare trained by David Vandyke is the early favourite in this BM65 handicap over 1350m for fillies and mares. Her career record is a win and four places from six starts. She finished 1.3 lengths.0.3 length 3rd over 1200m at Sunshine Coast on 30 August, then won a maiden plate by 0.8 lengths over 1400m at Sunshine Coast on 25 September. She has an extra 1.5 kg here and will find it tougher. Does not look like value.

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Tuesday 18th June 2024

Key Comments The rail is in 2.5 metres from the 950m mark to the 300m mark and in 1.5 metres from the 300m mark to the winning post and true for the remainder. The track is in the soft range. Best Bet Spillify (Lismore Race 6 No. 1) 2/2 on this track and 1/1 over this track and trip. Barrier 10 with the apprentice aboard does pose some risks but this race looks up for the taking and the track and trip stats

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Tuesday 18th June 2024

Key Comments The best bet is in the opening race and has been subject to strong market support. The track is in the heavy range and the rail is +5 metres from the 1100m-450m, and true for the remainder. Best Bet Waterski (Hawkesbury Race 1 No. 9) Good effort when resuming just missing Art Volant who has won again since so the form looks good. Maps well and finds the right race to be breaking maiden in what looks a very suitable field.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Tuesday 18th June 2024

Key Comments Racing on the synthetic. The rail is in the true position. The best bet looks very hard to beat off the back of a strong run when resuming and looks suited by the drop in grade. Best Bet Corner Off (Ballarat Race 6 No. 10) Great return on the heavy track when running 3rd and the horse in second has won again since so the form has been ticked off. Tricky draw but was never far away in this grade last

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Monday 17th June 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 5 metres from the 1200-300m mark and the true position for the remainder. The track is in the soft range. Best Bet Code In Time (Muswellbrook Race 7 No. 1) Has been racing in such consistent fashion. Been up a while but deserves another win, maps well and looks suited in this field while also being able to handle the conditions. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker Each Way
