This four-year-old Shooting to Win gelding has two win and six places from nine starts. He didn’t have a lot of luck when he finished 6th over 1200m at Townsville on 6 May, then finished 3rd over 1250m at Cairns on 18 May. He has the speed to overcome his wide draw and looks a good each-way chance.

Monsieur Macron (Townsville Race 5 No. 5):
This six-year-old Swiss Ace gelding is the early favourite in this BM 70 Handicap over 1200m. He resumed from a 16 week break for 4,35 lengths 9th over 1050m at Rockhampton on 29 April, then improved second-up to be run down late for 0.2 length 2nd over 1100m at Mackay on 11 May. Offers no value at the short price.
