Our Eagle Farm Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Irish Sequel (Eagle Farm Race 3 No. 2)
This six-year-old Invincible Spirit gelding trained by Chris Waller has three wins and four places from 16 starts. He fought on for 1.5 lengths 5th over 1800m at Gold Coast on 18 September, then took over at the 100m and won by 1.25 lengths over 2030m on a soft track at Doomben on 2 October. Jim Byrne sticks with him and he is the leading hope.

Each Way
Lyrical Girl (Eagle Farm Race 10 No. 9):
This five-year-old Your Song mare trained by Tony Gollan has four wins and six places from 12 starts. She resumed from a 30 week spell to run 4 lengths 3rd over 1050m at Doomben on 28 August, then led early and was headed at the 150m to run one length 3rd over 1000m at Toowoomba on 25 September. Goes well on a softer track and looks a good each-way chance again.

Salateen (Eagle Farm Race 4 No. 9):
This four-year-old I Am Invincible mare trained by Tony Gollan is the early favourite in this Fillies & Mares BM 75 Handicap over 1200m. At the end of last campaign she was beaten at the 250m and was badly winded to finish 8.4 lengths 7th over 1300m at Warwick Farm on heavy going on 12 May, and was spelled for 19 weeks. She resumed with a powerful 3.25 win over 1200m at Doomben on 26 September. Didn’t fire second-up last campaign, and offers no value at the short price.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Wednesday 8th May 2024
Key Comments The rail is out 9 metres. The track is in the good range. The best bet comes up earlier in the day and didn't have much luck last run. Best Bet Lady Di Di (Sandown Race 2 No. 6) Rock solid effort last start from this 4yo Mare who had no luck but still hit the line well behind Fasuto. That form should hold strong for this kind of race and expect it should get every chance from barrier 5. Open
Horse Racing Tips: NSW Tuesday 7th May 2024
Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet comes up in the second race. The track is heavy so keep an eye on conditions. Best Bet Hold (Goulburn Race 2 No. 4) The best bet comes up in the second race. Likeable first up win and handles the wet conditions which is a big tick here. Taking on the favourite who had 3 goes in the heavy for no placings. Not much between them in the market. Check
Horse Racing Tips: VIC Tuesday 7th May 2024
Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet is on the first of the day and looks well placed to notch up its maiden win. Best Bet Superior Zara (Benalla Race 1 No. 8) Hard to beat resuming and the market should tell the story late. This 3yo Filly strikes the ideal race to break through and brings a strong ratings profile in comparison to the field. Hard to beat. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker
Horse Racing Tips: Sha Tin, Sunday 5th May 2024
Key Comments There is a huge 11-race program where the feature is the Group 3 Queen Mother Memorial Cup over 2400m (race 8). The rail is in the B position. There is plenty of rain forecast so the track will be a yielding surface. The first race is at 12.30 pm Hong Kong time which is 2.30 pm AEST. Best Bet Storming Dragon (Sha Tin Race 7 No. 8) Storming Dragon finished a length 3rd at his only start. He’s won a trial
