Gold Coast Suns v Melbourne Demons (Saturday Twilight)
Unsurprisingly Melbourne dominates the recent record between these two sides. The Suns will take confidence from an away win over the struggling Tigers last week but are still with out Touk Miller and face a Melbourne side starting to hit their straps. Won’t be surprised to see the Suns take it up to the Demons early but I think Melbourne will find away to win this.

Greater Western Giants v Western Bulldogs (Saturday Night)
These modern day rivals meet in the capital on Saturday night. Greater Western Sydney pulled off a sensational come from behind win against the Swans last week thanks to a late goal from superstar Toby Green. There were a few nervous moments but the Dogs did what they needed to against the Hawks to make it four wins from their last five games – and continue to build into season 2023. I like the Bulldogs here for three reasons. They look a strong chance of making the eight where as the Giants are very much in a rebuild / reset under new coach Adam Kingsley. They also have a very good recent record against the Giants. Furthermore the Giants are with out their best key defender and the Dogs have a forward line who can expose them.

Port Adelaide Power v Essendon Bombers (Sunday)
Port could not of been more impressive against the Saints under the roof at Docklands last Friday night. Their midfield in particular was dominate. The Bombers are a young side on the improve and are playing a lot more consistent footy under the new coach but Por at home should prove a little bit too strong for them.
