Brisbane Lions v Sydney Swans (Friday Night)
The Swans travel to Brisbane to face the Lions under the Friday night lights and unfortunately for last years grand finalists they do not look set to regain any players from a lengthy injury list. The Lions are coming off two losses. They clearly did not come with the right attitude against the Hawks in Melbourne last week but I thought they were okay against the Crows two weeks ago in what is fast becoming one of the hardest road trips in footy. I would expect they hit back strongly in this and look a solid chance to cover the 28.5 line.

Greater Western Sydney Giants v Fremantle Dockers (Saturday)
Despite some key injuries the rebuilding Giants are enjoying a good patch of form with two wins and a narrow loss from their last three. Fremantle had won four in a row heading into last week and would be disappointed to have dropped a game at home against the Tigers. I’m keen to back the over total points in this game. The weather looks good and both teams have been looking to move the footy in an attacking manner in recent times.
