Another tricky week in the AFL but we have found three bets.
Melbourne Demons v Fremantle Dockers (Saturday Afternoon)
This is an interesting contest at the MCG on Saturday afternoon. After a very slow start to 2023 the Dockers are on a roll. They have won their last three including a big win over Geelong last week in Perth. They played Melbourne here almost 12 months ago to the day and put in an extraordinary performance to beat the then reigning premiers by 38 points. The Dee’s weren’t bad last week against the Power but with the news Clayton Oliver will miss the next 3-4 weeks with a hamstring injury I’m happy to speck the Dockers with the start here.

Geelong Cats v Greater Western Sydney Giants (Saturday Night)
Both of these sides are coming off losses. The Giants were okay against the Saints at home last week whilst the Cats were thoroughly outplayed by Fremantle in Perth. Geelong still have some good players out but back at home against a weak Giants backline should bode well for them. This could get ugly for the Giants. Cats to cover the line.

Richmond Tigers v Port Adelaide Power (Sunday Afternoon)
The early game on Sunday afternoon is a good one. It’s been a huge week the Tigers with their coach Damian Hardwick announcing he is quitting as Richmond coach immediately after an unbelievable run with Richmond. The Power on the other hand are flying at the moment under coach Ken Hinkley. They were impressive last week against the Demons and I think they can come to Melbourne and get the chocolates against the Tiges who have had a week full of distractions.
