Richmond Tigers v Essendon Bombers (Saturday Night)
The fortunes of these two sides have changed significantly over the last few weeks. Essendon started the year well but have been hit hard by injuries and their young list is beginning to struggle. Richmond on the other hand were going terribly earlier in the year but have got some key personnel back in recent weeks and are coming off a big win against Geelong last Friday night. I like Richmond to get the chocolates here in the dream time at the G match which is one of the highlights on the footy calendar.

Collingwood Magpies v Carlton Blues (Sunday)
Carlton v Collingwood is one of footys great rivalries and I think its safe to say we can expect a crowd upwards of 80,000 at the G on Sunday afternoon to witness it. Carlton have been in the press for all the wrong reasons over the past few weeks after as a result of losing four of their last five (the one win was a thumping of a struggling eagles outfit). The Blues have a talented list that seemingly wants for nothing but they are struggling to move the footy at the moment and when they do their forwards are unable to finish the work. Collingwood on the other hand look as hungry as ever despite some injury to key personnel. The inclusion of Mason Cox in recent weeks has been significant and I expect the Pies to be too strong in this.
