Let’s Do It | (Sha Tin Race 6 No.1)

With the jockey premiership still up for grabs, every ride is going to count, and I reckon Zac is going to make this one a nice one. He rode this Dane Shadow gelding last start to a 0.75 length second behind Chevalier Prince, and that was with the horse doing an abundance of things wrong in the run and still running some nice closing sectionals. He gets a similar draw here and now that Purton has a gauge on his antics, I reckon we are going to see a much better steer throughout.

All Riches | (Sha Tin Race 7 No.3)

Happy to stick with this Wandjina gelding following his breakthrough win last start over this course and distance. He was drawn wide on the day but thanks to the long back straight, he was able to harness some energy on his way to the front before kicking in the straight to a 2.4 length win in dominant fashion. Everything has panned out perfect for him to go back to back here with a wide draw, same track and distance, and same jockey. There seems to be less speed on paper which is even better and really the only concern is the extra 3.7kg from his last start effort, but if he can carry it, he will go close once again.
