Amazing Innovator | (Sha Tin Race 8 No.3)

I think this Nostradamus gelding is a chance to knock off the short-priced favourite, and we get a nice price to find out. His debut was good up the straight, copping a fair bit of trouble through the middle stages of the race before really picking up late and through the line for a 3.1 length fifth. Blake Shinn is back aboard after being on him throughout his trials and the extra 200m is going to suit him down to the ground. He is drawn ideally to get a nice run throughout, and at the price, should run a big race.

Current Price: $7.00/$2.05

Sakewin | (Sha Tin Race 10 No.4)

Despite running a 1.5 length fourth last start, happy to stick with this bloke to return to the winner’s circle. He wasn’t disgraced behind Brilliant Way and Buzzinga, which was his biggest test to date, and for a horse that has done nothing but led in his previous race starts, he had to do the chasing as well. This is a much kinder Class 3 and despite drawing barrier 9, he should get across with ease to lead. He is going to take stopping.

Current Price: $3.20

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments The track is Soft and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Sky Land (Hobart Race 1 No. 10) This 2YO filly takes on the older horses here but has been very game
