Comme Bella Fille | (Royal Randwick Race 5 No.3)

I think the bookies have got the market wrong here between this girl and the favourite. This Complacent mare is aiming for three wins on the trot with her latest a 0.7 length win over the current favourite Niffler. Despite conceding two kg to the favourite, the extra distance suits our girl down to the ground as last start she was getting away from her opposition over the final 50m or so. Now we just need the even luck and she will be fighting out the finish.

Current Price: $4.00

Each Way

Our Bellagio Miss | (Royal Randwick Race 9 No.3)

Happy to side with this Casino Prince mare on an each-way basis. I think she has been missed by the market due to her recent form, but let’s run over it. Her second-up run was a forgive run as she had an irregular heartbeat and was ordered to trial which she did successfully. She then went to Brisbane for a Listed race and she was out of her grade and performed as such. Back to benchmark 78 grade last start, she was wide without cover and still managed to run third, 0.6 of a length off the winner. She gets a much better draw, drops a kg with the extra 1kg on the claim of Ellen Hennessy, and faces a similar if not easier field than last start. She is over the odds.

Current Price: $10.00/$3.20
