Our Canberra Racing Tips for Tuesday’s meeting.

Prophet’s Pride (Canberra Race 9 No. 14)
This three-year-old Divine Prophet filly trained by Paul Facoory at Queanbeyan has had one start where she ran second. She got bustled back to last then came widest at the corner and powered home over the last 200m where she was taking ground off the winner but just came from too far back. That was in a maiden handicap over 1000m at Queanbeyan. Looks to be a filly with ability and can win this Country Only Maiden Plate.

Washington Towers (Canberra Race 6 No. 1):
This five-year-old Whittington gelding trained by Todd Smart has had four wins and four places from 14 starts. After placing at his first two starts this campaign he finished 10 lengths last over 1100m at Rosehill on 6 October where he was slow to recover, then was claimed in the final strides to finish 0.2 length 2nd over 1200m at Queanbeyan on 21 October. With three places from four runs this campaign he looks a nice each-way chance again.
