Our Eagle Farm Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Frontman (Eagle Farm Race 2 No. 8)
This two-year-old Redoubte’s Choice colt trained by Anthony Freedman has had two starts. On debut he settled 5th, got behind the leaders on the turn and chased hard closing through the line for 0.75 length 2nd behind Lightsaber over 1300m at Sandown Hillside on 3 February. At his second start he settled 3rd but was bumped and became unbalanced at the 450m then battled after that for 4.85 lengths 5th over 1400m at Sandown Hillside on 17 February. He resumes from an 11 week let-up, gets the blinkers on for the first time and looks a major chance.

Charm Bracelet (Eagle Farm Race 1 No. 6):
This three-year-old Charm Spirit filly has two places from her three starts. She was caught wide with no cover but fought on gamely for 1.5 lengths 2nd over 1100m at Gold Coast on 3 April, then played up before the start but fought hard for 0.5 length 2nd over 1000m at Eagle Faem on 14 April. The 3kg claim will help here and she looks a nice each-way bet.

Designs (Eagle Farm Race 5  No. 10):
This three-year-old Vancouver filly is the early favourite in this QTIS 3YO handicap over 1845m. She over-raced 3 deep and chased hard for 0.3,0.5 length 3rd over 1400m at Pakenham Park on 1 April, then was slowly away and took no part in a 3YO fillies handicap over 1600m at Caulfield on 24 April. Her breeding suggests the extra distance will be no problem, but her habit of being slowly away suggests others have better chances in a race with several last start winners.

Horse Racing Tips: SA Saturday 4th May 2024

Key Comments The feature races are the Adelaide Guineas (race 6), Queen Elizabeth II Cup (race 7) and the South Australian Derby (race 8). The track is good and the rail is +2 metres from the 1200m to the winning post and true for the remainder. Best Bet The Map (Morphettville Race 7 No. 2) She’s has had a 7 week let-up after just missing in the Adelaide Cup and comes off a trial win at Balaklava. Going really well this campaign and

Key Comments Wagga Cup Day. The Gold Cup is the feature and it is race 7. The best bet is in the feature. Best Bet Fawkner Park (Wagga Riverside Race 7 No. 7) Happy to risk him with the wide draw. Last win was so dominant and you can fan wide and win on this track. Very difficult barrier but backing in Schiller. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker Each Way Cruizingdafield (Wagga

Key Comments 10 race program. The features include the Hawkesbury Gold Rush (race 5), Hawkesbury Crown (race 6), Hawkesbury Guineas (race 7), Hawkesbury Gold Cup (race 8). Best Bet Gentileschi (Hawkesbury Race 3 No. 9) Has stacks of upside and a lot to like about the past 2 wins. Rises in grade but looks a promising type that can notch up another win here. Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet is off the back of a strong second placing and looks hard to hold out launching from the good draw. Best Bet Red Red Wine (Echuca Race 8 No. 5) He has been hard to catch lately but was keen on him earlier this prep when he was smashed in the market and ran on well in a higher grade than this. Gets his chance in this field and should relish the drop in
