Our Bendigo Horse Racing Tips for Tuesday’s meeting
Marketing (Bendigo Race 8 No. 1)
This four-year-old Artie Schiller gelding has two wins from five starts and is resuming here after a 26 week break. He resumed from a spell for a 3.25 length win in a maiden plate over 1200m at Warracknabeel on 12 September, then came from well back and charged away for a 4.25 length win in a BM64 on a heavy track over 1343m at Geelong on 1 October. This is his first run for a new trainer and he looks a leading chance.

Jenni Express (Bendigo Race 5 No. 8):
This three-year-old Shamexpress filly trained by Matt Laurie at Mornington has a win and a place from her two starts. On debut she settled 4th and fought well to just miss for 0.1 length 2nd over 1000m at Mornington on 4 December, then jumped awkwardly before speeding through to the lead and kicking clear for a good 3.5 length win in a maiden plate over 1000m at Yarra Valley on 18 December. She resumes here after 15 weeks and has drawn wide but has the speed to overcome that. Looks a good each-way chance.

Thudson (Bendigo Race 6 No. 11):
This three-year-old Pride Of Dubai gelding trained by Peter and Paul Snowden has two wins and two places from six starts and is the early favourite in this BM 64 handicap over 1000m. He was winded late and finished 5 lengths 8th over 1000m at Warwick Farm on 25 November, then chased gamely for 0.95 length 2nd over 1100m at Hawkesbury on 6 December where he bled. Resuming after a 17 week spell he ran 3rd in a trail at Randwick, but may need another run and doesn’t offer value.

Key Comments The track is in the heavy 10 range. The rail is in 3 metres. The best bet has heavy form and looks a big hope with Gibbons steering. Best Bet Bellascent (Wyong Race 4 No. 6) Excellent run last start almost pulling off the win at decent odds. That was on heavy ground and it got within .2 of the winner. Should get conditions to suit again here and by this time of the day being drawn wide may not be
