Purrfect Deal (Ipswich Race 5 No. 8)
This four-year-old Dundeel mare has won two of her three starts. She was tightened at the 100m but kept grinding away for 4.1 lengths 4th over 1300m at Sunshine Coast on 27 September, then took over at the 150m and raced away for an impressive 4.5 length win in a fillies and mares plate over 1400m at Gold Coast on 10 October. She should win again.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Smokey Diamond (Ipswich Race 4  No. 3):
This six-year-old Top Echelon gelding went well over a similar distance last start. He was last at the turn and made steady ground for 4.1 lengths 6th in the Dalby Cup open handicap over 1400m on 19 September, then was held up and not fully tested when he finished 0.1 length, a length 3rd over 1690m at Ipswich on 7 October. He gets a chance to go better thistime and is worth an each-way bet.

Key Comments Expecting the track to suit those up on speed. The rail is true. Saving the best bet until last coming off the back of some solid placings and finds its self in the right race. Best Bet Smart Legend (Canterbury Race 8 No. 4) Excellent effort last start when taking the rails run and missing in a diving finish.
