Melbourne Renegades v Perth Scorchers @ Docklands (Melbourne)

The top of the table Scorchers will be looking to make it five wins in a row to start BBL 11 when they take on the bottom placed Melbourne Renegades at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Wednesday night.

The Scorchers are circa $1.50 with most of the bookies and deservedly so.  They are experienced and play to a consistently high standard unlike the Renegades who despite regaining Australian limited overs captain Aaron Finch have looked all at sea once again this season.

Looking to have small bets on the most run scorer markets in this game.

For the Scorchers the player I am keen to back is Josh Inglis.  The talented 26 year old is touted as a future Australian player and has had a blistering start to the Australian summer in the domestic ranks.  Since returning from Australia A duties he has made two low scores for the Scorchers and will be determined not to make it three in a row.  The $4.50 available looks a fair gamble for an opener with this level of talent.

And for the Renegades it’s the skipper Nic Maddison.  Similarly to Inglis he has had a hot start to the domestic summer and made 70 in a recent tour game for Australia A.  Outside of Finch who has plenty of pressure on him after a poor BBL 10 the class of Maddinson stands out in the Renegades batting order.  The $6 appears a big price for him.

Suggested Betting Strategy

Melbourne Renegades v Perth Scorchers – .6 Unit | Josh Inglis Top Run Scorer Perth Scorchers @ $4.5 (Sportsbet)

Melbourne Renegades v Perth Scorchers – .4 Unit | Nic Maddinson Top Run Scorer Melbourne Renegades @ $6 (Sportsbet)
