Can make a genuine case for both of these sides to lock in a grand final spot with a win here. The Rabbitohs were surprise winners over the Panthers last week, despite most dropping off with Latrell Mitchell out. But this game really could be won and lost with the impact of one of the best-ever seasons returned by a player in 2021 – Tom Trbojevic for the Sea Eagles. While Manly have lost their past four against the Rabbitohs, I just wonder if they can continue to fire without Mitchell. At the price must back the Sea Eagles.

Melbourne Storm v Penrith Panthers

The Storm have timed their premiership run to perfection and I can’t see them slipping up here. By contrast, the Panthers have seemingly slipped in their premiership tilt and although they get Brian To’o back here, the Storm get Josh Addo-Carr returning on the wing. While these two will be influential in each side’s attack, I think it’ll be the Storm’s staunch defence – which has been a feature in recent weeks – will be key to winning this match, and winning it comfortably.
