Review of last weeks golf tips

Well, Backawinners, the Wyndham Championship proved a madhouse Sunday. Six players tied for first, so the each way bets had to be at T1!

Our picks, Sung Kang-($1000), Tyler McCumber-($810), Harry Higgs-($700), Denny McCarthy -($400) all had their chances to win, but fell three short for no result. At the other venues we had no chance.

This week we hope to get back to our winning ways.

Women’s British Open (Major)

The LPGA Tour goes to the very difficult Carnoustie Links a course I know well which will require length, patience and accuracy. The venerable Links was originally designed by the unbeaten Allan Robertson with Old atom Morris and amended by James Braid in 1926. At around 6500 yards, par 72, it will prove a tough test for the LPGA players depending upon the length of rough and the wind. I predict a winning score of 280. Find a bookie!
