Review of last weeks golf tips
Backawinners! A win! A small win, but a wins a win. Whitney Hillier ($500 each way) ran 5th in the LET Dubai Moonlight Classic. So a $125 place winner. A couple of our other long priced bets just missed out,Nuria Iturrioz ($100 each way) was 7th. Linnea Strom ($126 each way was 9th and Kim Metraux ($500 each way) faded to 21st after being third with two rounds to go. In Europe Francesco la Porta was 7th. Danny Lee ($200) finished 1 shot out of 5th an each way place after just missing for us last week!
LET Aramco Dubai
The European Tour starts in Dubai at the Greg Norman designed Fire course of the Jumeirah estates. The 7480 yards (6800m) par 72 showcases the tour finals and is a limited field.

The Ladies European Tour plays another leg in Jeddah this week, the fun starts at the Ladies European tour Saudi Ladies International at the Royal Greens Golf Club in King Abdullah Economic City. The European Golf Design course will play for the ladies at about 6600 yards (6000metres).

It boasts a slope rating of 129 and a CR of 72.7, but Donald Ross has more defences than length.

The PGA Tour plays the iconic Houston Open at a venerable public course, Memorial Park now significantly improved by Tom Doak and playing 7300 yards (6630m) par 72 with a CR of 75 and a slope of 130. The course has proven a real examination even for the gorillas.
