Genesis Open at Riviera

The USPGA Tour is the only act going at the moment, but it goes to the iconic Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, George Thomas, the doyen of US architects in the golden years and William Bell, also well regarded designed the course, which has with gradual upgrades stood the test of time and the ball travelling immense distances. At 7332 yards (6695 m) it is not especially long, but the sloping fairways and tough greens ensure a CR of 75.6 with a slope rating of 137. Whilst many of the tour courses are bland and boring this one is a doozy and worth watching.
