The Five Diamonds Prelude Race History
The Five Diamonds Prelude was announced as a new race to be run for the first time in 2022. Only five-year-olds are eligible for this new $1 million race. In 2024 it was given Listed status.
The winner is exempt from ballot for the $2 million Five Diamonds held 2 weeks later.
