Comes from a 6 week let-up after winning a 3YO Open Set Weight With Penalties over 1200m at Ascot on 23rd December. Hasn’t raced at Bunbury before but it wouldn’t”t surprise to see him in the prizemoney.

This colt was a close 2nd in the Group 2 WA Guineas 2 starts back, then went well against the older horses for 1.4 lengths 5th in the Group 1 Northerly Stakes last start. Has a lot of ability and at his best could win this.

3. Stormchaser (1)

Has 4 wins and 2 places from his 7 starts and is going for a hat-trick here after successive wins at Ascot. Drawn perfectly and should be in the finish.

4. Ancient Guidance (5)

On a 8 day back-up. Resumed for 7th over 1200m at Ascot on 27th January. Not the worst.

5. Final Siren (10)

Has 3 wins from 4 starts and should run well again.

6. Sapphire Street (4)

Won last start in a 3YO Open Set Weight With Penalties race over 1100m at Ascot on 20th January beating a couple of rivals here. Chance.
