Track: Good Weather: Fine

Tricky affair with many chances. Hard to pot the form of Palaisipan who should get the right run in transit from barrier 1 and has the right man for the job, Tim Clark. Chain Of Lightning tasted defeat for the first time last run but was far from disgraced while Kissonallforcheeks has a booming turn of foot and Flying Mascot can give this a real shake if it finds its old form. A fair bit of speed is engaged in this race and that may just set things up for Fortunate Kiss at large odds who had no luck last run.

1. Kissonallforcheeks (14)

Kissonallforcheeks is 2/3 with Zahra aboard and 2/2 fourth up. Didn’t have any luck last run but the prior win was good. The massive query is the record on heavy so track conditions will be vital to its chances.

2. Barb Raider (9)

Large odds in this. No problems fresh and has run well on this track and over this trip. The market should be a good guide late but it certainly has a case.

3. Excelida (4)

Won well last start thanks to a superb steer and the stars aligning. Harder here but Dee retains the ride and the map looks good from barrier 4.

4. Palaisipan (1)

Superb run last start and Tim Clark will be taking no prisoners from barrier 1. Heavy has to be a query but the form looks right for the race and Clark is in excellent form. This race is within reach.

5. Mirra Vision (12)

Far from dismissing if the track isn’t in the heavy range. Has solid group one form in NSW and can take this out, I’d just like to see the track a soft 6-7 at worst.

6. Flying Mascot (13)

Due for another win and hasn’t really come up this prep. Flies over this track and trip and has a strong 3rd up record so it certainly looks a tailor made race for Flying Mascot. Has to really lift on form but should get its chance here.

7. Tycoon Evie (16)

Racing well but will need plenty of luck from barrier 16. Has the right form but is a little tricky to catch. Soft holds no fears and it can win this at large odds.

8. Argentia (8)

Can take this out from the tricky draw. The return was good and has plenty of class however if the track is heavy that will be a genuine query. Oliver can camp off them and look for a tow into the race. This field is suitable.

9. Chain Of Lightning (7)

The picket fence ended but far from disgraced last run. This has been a long prep which is some query and Kah isnt on. Likes the track but has to be some query if the track is genuinely heavy.

10. Paul’s Regret (11)

Hasn’t won from1 2 goes on this track but capable of producing a massive run when on song. The heavy holds no fears and Jarrod Fry is fresh off winning a group 1.

11. Rocha Clock (5)

Will be banking on dry ground which might not come. Loves this trip and maps kindly but the forecast doesn’t look good for its chances.

12. Pippali (6)

Can’t have on form and won’t handle the conditions.

13. Pride Of Jenni (15)

Jumped slow and really cost its self last run. Barrier 15 isn’t ideal but Kah is steering and she is 2/2 aboard. Has won 4th up previously and just needs a pinch of luck early from the wide draw to be going close in this field.

14. Cliff’s Art (3)

Needs to lift.

15. Fortunate Kiss (10)

Luckless last run after jumping slow and being held up. Barrier 10 means clean air and it looks well and truly over the odds in this field. Has run well on this track before and can give this race a shake.

16. Miss Cartier (2)

Can’t have.
