Quality field engaged. TheBlack Cloud gets favours from barrier 1. Flies with Ford in the saddle and is unbeaten over this trip. Commemorative is a huge chance if the field doesn’t get in the heavy range. Quality 4yo Mare resuming off a break and is untapped. LadyLaguna is versatile and has the class factor. Kimochi is never far way and Opal Ridge is unbeaten 4th up.

Class runner who sets the benchmark. Rarely misses top 3, handles all conditions and deserves to carry weight.
2. Opal Ridge (9)
Proven weight carrier who is unbeaten 4th up and has the class factor in this field. Will need luck from the barrier but has the speed to offset the wide draw.
3. Joliestar (5)
Scratched.
4. Kimochi (7)
Consistent runner who is never far from the finish but doesn’t win out of turn. Does most of its racing on this track and yet to miss the placings fresh.
5. Aureus Angel (4)
This looks a big too tough.
6. Infancy (10)
Can’t have.
7. Dashing Legend (11)
Has been racing without much luck and can be an improver. Gibbons is a quality booking.
8. Mumbai Muse (3)
Maps well from barrier 3 and nicely weighted in this field. Market watch fresh.
9. Dancing Alone (2)
Average when resuming but Collett hops back aboard and she is 4/4 when riding. This race is within reach.
10. The Black Cloud (1)
Won 4 from 6 and the last win was one of the most impressive, careering away by a length on the Flemington straight. Goes in the mix.
11. Commemorative (6)
Stacked with upside and does its best racing off the heavy. 2 big wins last prep and should be primed for this. Classy runner that goes on top.
12. Blanc De Blanc (12)
Can’t hace.
13. Diamond Model (13)
Prefer others.
