Track: Good Weather: Fine

Antino is racing superbly this prep and will again be very hard to beat. Gets a gun draw and clean air at the right time sees it winning this. Democracy Manifest has a wide draw but Nash does the steering and this race is well within reach. Unspoken is building a solid picket fence and goes in the mix while import Jimi Hendrix is going along well and should give a bold sight.

1. Converge (1)

Gone off the boil this prep. Can’t have.

2. Palmetto (3)

Nice win last start and has stacks of upside. Harder here but well placed.

3. Antino (2)

The clear horse to beat. Gets the gun map, draw and has the best form. Looks the winner but is a horse that relies on clean air so it will need the gaps at the right times.

4. Hoo Ya Mal (15)

Import that is going okay in stronger races. Well poised in this.

5. Hinged (13)

Has gone off the boil as well as Converge. Its best wins this but we haven’t seen it for a while.

6. Jimi Hendrix (12)

Import that has nice form on the board and the leading jockey engaged. Respect any market moves.

7. Democracy Manifest (11)

Tough draw but going along well. Will need luck from the draw but Nash is a suitable booking and this race doesn’t look out of reach.

8. Hope In Your Heart (17)

Might be a tricky task from out there but can win this with even luck. Looming at large odds.

9. Zoumon (4)

Maps for a good run in transit and should be strips fitter off the first up run. Goes in the mix.

10. Forgot You (5)  – SCRATCHED

11. Detonator Jack (8)

Expecting more this prep but did lift last run. Can go close if holding its form.

12. Unspoken (7)

Building a very good picket fence and can land on speed and notch up another win in this. Hard to beat.

13. Waterford (13)

Getting hard to catch. Prefer others.

14. Thalassophile (6)  – SCRATCHED

15e. Regal Lion (14)

Can’t have.

16e. Fawkner Park (16)

Going along okay and suited to this trip. Has claims.

17e. St Lawrence (9)

Not in amazing at the weights but has class and is good enough to go close if it finds its best.

18e. Touristic (10)

Can’t have.
