Track: Soft 6 Weather: Fine

Manaal has been really well tried in early markets and should give this a shake. Looks well placed in a field of this depth and Collett does the steering from the perfect draw. Erno’sCube is good enough to figure in the finish. Ameena has plenty of ability and has trialled well. Zeitung was classy first up and can go on with things.

Rock solid last prep and resumes over the 1200 at Randwick which is the perfect set up. Can sit just off the speed and prove too good for these.

2. Erno’s Cube (13)

Runner with some good form lines who was around the mark in some handy races last prep. Tough draw but goes in the mix.

3. Chateau Miraval (9)

Has form around the favourite and must be respected off that.

4. Ameena (10)

Racing well and has strong form lines for this. Keep an eye on the market for its chances.

5. Miss Busslinger (3)

Can’t have.

6. Hallett (1)

Maps well from barrier 1 and should give this a shake with Tim Clark doing the steering. Suited to this field.

7. Satin Stiletto (12)

Can’t have.

8. Silmarillion (6)

Prefer others.

9. Zeitung (11)

Good last start win and should give this a shake. Gets the in form Lloyd and can take the next step here. Albeit looks short enough in the market.

10. Sakima (5)

Can’t have.

Prefer others.

Can’t have.

13. Bauhinia (7)

This looks too tough.
