Tricky race. A lot to like about the return win of OurKobison. Has the class to be giving this race a big shake. Encap has the ability but barrier 1 may make things tricky. Joliestar has been ultra consistent to date and ticks plenty of boxes. YellowBrick can be tough to catch but knows how to win while SouthportTycoon didn’t handle the heavy prior to heading for a spell.

Class runner who knocked up on the heavy prior to a break. Has been tried well in early markets and can win.

2. Democracy Manifest (10)

Would love to see it win off the recent passing of the man who famously quoted this horses name. Has a superb record over this trip and flies fresh. Would make for a succulent win.

Can’t have.

4. Yellow Brick (5)

Winner who knows where the line is. Good last start effort knocking over Wategos. Much harder here and does look short enough.

5. Phearson (7)

On pacer who is suited in this field. Looks over the odds if it gets its own way up front.

6. Airman (2)

Quality runner who resumes fresh. Flies over this trip and the in form Berry steers.

7. Old Flame (15)

Can’t have.

8. Joliestar (11)

Quality runner who took the scalp of Hedged recently and resumes off a break. Should go close and has an ultra consistent record.

9. Bandi’s Boy (14)

Class runner who is 3/3 over this trip and went in leaps and bounds last prep. Can win.

10. Encap (1)

Classy runner who resumes off a lengthy break. Barrier 1 may be tricky but this race suits.

11. Suparazi (3)

Scratched.

12. Kinloch (9)

Prefer others.

13. Much Much Better (4)

Can’t have.

14. Our Kobison (6)

Lovely last start win when well tried in the market and duly saluted. Can go right on with things here.
