Tricky race to sort. Maotai should get a good run and finally got some well deserved luck a few weeks back. Should be able to go on with things now. ArkansawKid maps for a good time of things from barrier 2 and will give this a shake from the kind draw. Caste should be able to go close off the back of a decent break but may want further. It’sourtime is having a consistent prep.

Classy runner who isn’t the worst at odds and is proven above this level. Can win.

2. It’sourtime (9)

Having a superb prep holding very consistent form. Kah steers and maps to sit off the speed and have one last crack at them.

3. El Soleado (4)

Can’t have.

4. Expressiveness (11)

Has the speed to be up in the firing line against these and proven fresh. Lane hops aboard for the first time. Keen market watch.

5. The Pendragon (3)

Can’t have.

6. Who Dares (10)

Consistent runner who has been around the mark this prep. Goes close despite the wide draw.

7. Ka Bling (1)

Big win last start in the Ramornie. Will need luck from barrier 1 but hunts this race with good upside.

8. Arkansaw Kid (2)

Maps well from barrier 2 and has plenty of class. Tackles this fresh and was enormous first up last prep. Well placed.

9. Caste (6)

Classy runner who resumes off the back of a decent break. Carrying a winnable weight but may want further.

10. Vagrant (8)

Can’t have.

11. Maotai (5)

Quality runner who finally broke through for a deserving victory after racing without a lot of luck the prep prior. Can go on with things now from the good draw.
