Redoute’s Choice Stakes 2023 Race Details
Race 3 at Sandown Racecourse on Saturday the 8th April 2023.
The Redoute’s Choice Stakes is a Listed race held at Sandown Lakeside over 1100 metres. It is a two-year-old race run under set weights plus penalties conditions on Easter Saturday. The total prizemoney is $175,000 this year.

Redoute’s Choice Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Wet Weather: Showers
Seven two year olds are set to line up here in what looks a very tricky race. All off these are either on debut or having their second start in a race so there are a lot of unknowns. I Am Unstoppable is at the top of betting following a good debut win in Adelaide. The Danny O’Brien filly Lovazou is second pick in the market. She ran second at Flemington on debut. Lady Of Savoy and Shoresy are the other two in single figures.
Redoute’s Choice Stakes 2023 Runner by Runner
1. I Am Unstoppable
Good winner at Morphettville on debut. Ran time. Has to do it at 1200m now on wet ground but it’s hard not to mark him favourite.
2. Shoresy
Lengthened nicely to win on debut at Cranbourne. Certainly wouldn’t shock to see him measure up here.
3. Mistavain
Debutant. Hard ridden to win latest jump out with a huge gap back to third.
4. Lovazou
Debuted in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes at Flemington. Was second in that but did look to have every opportunity. Think she is limited but doesn’t have much to beat here.
5. Waimarie
Won a Ballarat maiden on debut on a soft 7. In the mix.
6. Apache Song
Ran home well at Pakenham on debut. Maps well.
7. Lady Of Savoy
First starter from Matt Laurie yard. Has looked good winning two jump outs. Has a chance.
