Nudgee Quality 2023 Race Details
Race 8 at Doomben Racecourse on Saturday the 30th of December 2023.
The Nudgee Quality is a Listed race held at Doomben Racecourse and is run over 1200 metres. It is for fillies and mares and is run under set weights plus penalties conditions. The total prize money is $200,000 this year.

Nudgee Quality 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Comrade Rosa is coming off a very strong last start win. Parisal looks hard to beat in this fresh and has a touch of class. Lady Laguna went well fresh and won’t find this any harder. Chinny Boom was excellent fresh and 55.5kgs is a very winnable weight. Hard to beat. Essonne is one I have been keen on for a while and looks good odds.
Nudgee Quality 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Comrade Rosa (11)
Good last start win. Hard task from the draw but looks well placed in this field and can go right on with things. $3.90 is the right odds and worth jumping on.
2. Parisal (9)
Has a tricky draw to overcome but has a brilliant record and loves this trip having never missed the quinella.
3. Extremist (15)
Hard to beat in this and has excellent form for this. No favours from barrier 15 but goes in the mix.
4. Lady Laguna (2)
Good map and hard to beat from barrier 2. Schiller has been in mixed form but this race looks within reach.
5. Better Get Set (6)
Brings in some good form and gets favours from barrier 6.
6. Chatty Lady (17) – scratched
7. Essonne (1)
Always been a fan of this horse. Not ideal with barrier 1 but will be steaming to the line and looks way over the odds.

Can’t have.
