Tricky field. FrancesoGuardi hasn’t won for a long time but strikes a race of suitable depth. JustFine won with authority last start and can go on with things here. Serpentine is a quality stayer who should be in the finish from the kind draw while SaintGeorge and Manzoice have claims if finding their best form.

Big win last start and can adopt the same on pace tactics in this. That looks the right form and is a big hope.

3. Serpentine (1)

Been a bit off his best but expect improvement from the pole position and does look placed in the right race here. Goes close.

4. Manzoice (4)

He hasn’t won for a long time but has been thereabouts in some strong races of late and has been finding form. Solid chance.

5. Francesco Guardi (9)

Decent drop in grade for him here and has the services of J-Mac. Goes in the mix and should go close despite the wide draw.

6. Brayden Star (2)

Can’t have.

7. Okita Soushi (6)

Prefer others.

8. Saint George (8)

In the right camp and should be ready to peak fourth up. Expect a big run and looks the right odds in this.

9. Haaracaine (3)

Can’t have.

10. Positivity (7)

Sound run behind Just Fine last time out and looks well suited in this field. Prior efforts were good for this and expect there to be little between them yet again.
