Track: Good 4 Weather: Cloudy

Big fan of Growing Empire who got the job done in style for us last start. Much harder here but does warrant respect from the good draw. I Wish I Win is loaded with talent but doesn’t have the best running pattern. Absolutely good enough for this. Estriella raced with no luck fresh and should be a big improver. Coleman is the best roughie in the race and should be thereabouts from barrier 1 in this wide open affair. Host of other chances not mentioned in what shapes to be the race of the day.

1. I Wish I Win (12)

Goes on top and looks the best price. Yes, will need luck and will get back in the run but if it can find a tow into the race at the right time it looks the winner.

2. Veight (9)

Has built an outstanding prep and a recent trial has been a very tidy piece of work. Resumes here with huge claims, just needs a little luck from the draw.

3. Recommendation (5)

Racing well this prep but much harder here. Place chance at best.

4. Southport Tycoon (3)

Just a pass mark fresh but has a solid second up record and will be strips fitter for the return. This race is within reach.

5. Johnny Rocker (13)

Classy at best but needs to lift on form. Keep an eye on market moves.

6. Caballus (8)

Can’t have.

7. Chain Of Lightning (4)

Prefer others.

8. Estriella (10)

Given none with the ride fresh and looks a big hope in this field. Drawn wide but should prove hard to hold out with any luck from the barrier and has been met with early market support. Will have its fans.

9. Kimochi (6)

Can’t have.

10. Climbing Star (11)

Prefer others.

11. Coleman (1)

Best roughie in the race. Resumes and has some strong form lines to date. Maps for a tidy run from the pole position and this race is within reach.

12. Growing Empire (7)

Got the job done for us in style last start. Looks on the up but does face a much harder race here. Looks short enough but clearly has the ability to measure up.

13. Hayasugi (2)

Class runner who has a very strong record and can run a bold race from barrier 2. One of the main chances in what is a wide open race.
